Opening Ceremony & Welcome Reception

The Opening Ceremony will take place at the Pacífico B Room of the Hilton Buenos Aires Hotel. The Welcome Reception will follow the Opening Ceremony at the Exhibit Hall (Pacífico A Room and Foyers). All registered delegates and registered accompanying persons are invited to attend.

Tango Gala Dinner

The authentic roots and the pure essence of the argentine tango in a full show of music, singing and dancing of top artistic quality. Delegates will enjoy the most delicious dishes, and an exclusive selection of wines. As tickets are limited, it is advisable to purchase them in advance as they will be sold on a first-come first served basis.

Buenos Aires City Tour

A comprehensive 3-hour tour of the highlights of the city: including the historic Plaza de Mayo, the Metropolitan Cathedral, built in the 18th century in the neo-classic style, the Casa Rosada (Government House), the Congress Building, the old colonial district of San Telmo, with lots of antique shops and a flea market (on Sundays), the picturesque neighborhood of La Boca where the Tango was born. Next, Puerto Madero, a fashionable riverside restaurant area. Enjoy the beautiful Palermo area, known for its mansions and residential areas, passing by very attractive parks, lakes and gardens. The tour continues to the Recoleta neighborhood with sidewalk cafes, fine restaurants and elegant buildings with the Recoleta Cemetery, the city’s oldest cemetery. On the return you will be able to admire the beautiful buildings of the Decorative Art Museum and the Teatro Colón, one of the five most important Opera houses in the world.
